REDLANDS SMILEY LIBRARY ASSEMBLY ROOM ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 2016-2017 INTRODUCING THE HINO, JAPAN STUDENTS AND CHAPERONES 13 STUDENTS — 11 GIRLS AND 2 BOYS 3 CHAPERONES Everyone is welcome, so let’s give the students and chaperones a warm Southern California Redlands welcome. —————————————————————– “REDLANDS DOWNTOWN SCULPTURE” A sculpture with a trio of clocks representing Redlands and our sister cities, Hino, Japan, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico has been selected by the Cultural Arts Commission. It will be installed in Ed Hales Park facing State Street. If approved by the Redlands City Council, one clock on the left, will have Japanese numbers representing Hino, the center clock will represent Redlands, and the clock on the right will have Roman numerals representing San Miguel. Redlands Sister Cities Association is proud of our outstanding relationship and support from the City of Redlands.
